What Are The First 3 Things I need To Do With A New Member?

What are the first three things that you must do with a brand new team member? Very simple. What Masa and I always do with a brand new team member is… Think about it for a second. What is the first thing that comes to mind when I say to you, “Remember the day that you signed up in your opportunity?” What is the first thing that comes to mind? How did you feel that day, that moment? Excited right? So, this is what we do.

The first things that we do with somebody who’s excited, first of all, there are three things. So one, we get them into action, straightaway. That is the most important thing, to harness that energy and get that person into action. Second of all, we vaccinate them. Vaccinate means like you get your flu shot, so when the flu comes, you don’t get sick. We vaccinate them against what is going to happen after that excitement is gone, when they go and talk to their family, their friends, and every single person that is not in the business, and they don’t really understand the business, and they might be against it. So we vaccinate that person against that, so they know that they’re going to have people that will say no, they say they’re crazy, but it’s okay. So we vaccinate them.

Third, and most important, what we do is we set up the next appointment. Why do we do that? Because again, it’s all about having a timeframe of work. Because if you just send them home and you don’t set up any appointments, then you need to call them to set up an appointment. So as soon as you’re having them, right there and then, those are the three things that we do.

First of all, harness that energy, get it into action, make those phone calls, the 10-3-1. If you don’t know what that it is, in some of the videos before you can watch the 10-3-1 rule. So get them into action. Second of all, vaccinate them against quitting. The first 24 hours. The third, you’re going to set up an appointment within the first 24 hours. So those are the three main things that Masa and I do with every single new team member.
