Why Is My Team Not Growing?

Why is my team not growing? I get this question, probably 10 times a week. My income is plateauing. My team is not growing. I’ve had some success in Internet marketing, but now I’m stuck. Why your team is not growing, is probably because you don’t necessarily have all the leadership and systems in place to create massive duplication.

Now, you can continue to recruit and that’s certainly a small part of our income, and small part of what we continue to do as leaders. But, on the other hand, I think if you don’t have leadership and systems in place to increase the duplication, to be able to scale your business, your team is always going to be hitting plateaus.

The question really is, how can you create more leadership inside your team? You got to, maybe, one step is looking at the leaders you currently have and having a heart-to-heart conversation with the top five to 10 people. And seeing if they’re really ready for a challenge to go further. And sometimes, it’s also good to realise that we may not already have all the leaders that we need to become a million dollar earner, because it gets us out of the comfort zone. It gets us back in the field, massively recruiting.

If your team is not growing, certainly a part of it is, perhaps, that you need to look for new blood. New blood is the lifeline of our business, but at the same time, it’s really about increasing your systems and helping people to duplicate. What do you currently have available that will automate the leadership development of a brand new person who joins your organisation? What tools do you have to currently help that person actually do what you’re doing, so they don’t necessarily have to have this long learning curve to be able to become the best at what you’re doing, right now?

These are some of the questions that I would be asking myself. And, if you don’t already have systems in place, three things that you could do right now is create three tools that are very, very important. Number one, an automated video overview of your products, company, and opportunity. Number two, a simple getting started video that people can play when they first start in the organisation. And number three, I would create a validation video. If you’re already experiencing some success, if you’re already a six figure earner and you have a team, but you’re plateauing, actually giving a validation tool of your story and also covering the major objections before people actually join your team, will be increasingly very, very useful for your team to share as they’re getting to the stamp of validating and actually closing brand new people to get started in the business.

These are three tools that you can create and hopefully this helps you get your team back into action and growing again.
