Why Recruiting Will Leave You Broke

Now, you may think this is a really funny question because how can recruiting in network marketing, especially in the place where we really are prospecting and recruiting the entire time, how can that leave you broke, right?

Now let me tell you this. I have met some of the best recruiters in the whole world in our network-marketing profession, and let me tell you the reason they have been so successful, the reason they’re making so much money, it is not because of recruiting. And that may be entirely controversial, too. Well, let’s get it straight.
Recruiting is the number one skill that we all need to master, and without recruiting, there will be no business, there will be no success, there will be no six- and seven-figure income for you. But recruiting in itself is not the entire story. As you know, Miguel and I speak about duplication a lot. And that’s because we know that 99% of your long-term income in network marketing will come from you helping team members actually duplicate and do what you do.

And so I want you to remember that it’s not about really going for thousands and thousands of people. That if you’re really entirely, only focused on recruiting for yourself, long-term, you’re going to be in a vicious circle. You’re going to recruit 20, 30, 50 people, and if you don’t stop and consolidate and plug them into systems and actually help them to get ahead, long-term, you’ll be churning all these people, and not a lot of people will stay long-term.
So if you really want to maximize your time to be able to really create maximum results, that’s where you want to get recruiting habits actually coupled with duplication systems, right?

So it’s really important that you understand duplication in itself, long-term, will not create the majority of your income. And number two, it would actually leave you broke. You’re leaving on the table the majority of the money that you can make if you’re actually focusing on not just recruiting but actually plugging these people into your systems and helping them to duplicate into thousands and thousands of people.
So I hope you take this on board. I hope you master recruiting, number one, and then start actually helping these people in your team to duplicate.
