What is the number one trait of seven figure earners? That’s a great question. If I was to pick one trait that distinguishes seven figure earners from everybody else we’ve met over the past 10 years, seven figure, eight figure and even nine figure earners, I would say the speed of implementation. Probably you’ve heard this before, but just in case.
Speed of implementation is that they don’t wait for things to be perfect. They get them done straight away. For example, let’s say that you go to an event and you’re listening to a speaker and the speaker makes a comment about a book that might be useful for you. Seven figure, eight figure and nine figure earners, they don’t wait and they don’t write down the name of the book. They open their phone or they open their laptops straight away as they’re listening to that speaker and they go and buy the book. That’s the speed of implementation that I’m talking about.
If they’re talking to someone and some person suggests a way, a process to do something, they don’t wait to get home and write it down and think about it. No. They go and probably on the way back, they get in their car. As they get in the car, they call someone. Maybe they have an assistant or maybe even themselves and they make a note on how they’re going to be doing that thing somebody suggested to them and they’re going to get it done straight away. They don’t wait for these things to be perfect. The way that we all sometimes think that we need to get them done perfectly and then get them done. They get them done straight away. That’s the speed of implementation.
Now, it’s not necessarily a bad thing to do because we all want things to be the right thing at the right time and then we wonder “What if it’s not good enough?”. That is the most important question that we get asked ourselves or that we ask ourselves when we want to implement things. Maybe it’s not good enough. The best thing that I can suggest is that it’s never going to be good enough, it’s never going to be perfect so you may as well get it done and see what the feedback from the market is. If you need to talk to someone, don’t wait for you to be the best that you can be to talk someone. You are the best that you can be right now right here so you may as well try to get some feedback from that person when you’re talking to them and then based upon that interaction, then you can correct and improve and then try again.
I think, at the end of the day, if you want to be more successful than you are today, obviously, getting out of your comfort zone is a big thing. But, at the same time, you need to be willing to implement things as fast as possible. Think outside the box. Think about how fast you can implement those ideas that are going to make a difference in your life and in your business.
