How Can I Find More People To Speak To?

How can I find more people to speak to? This is probably the number one question I get asked each and every single day. I get several messages and people say, “You know what, I’m short on people to speak to. How can I find more people?” The interesting thing is that, this question is really crucial for somebody who’s quite new to their business, for somebody who doesn’t have a large team, and in that case, there would be some very specific advice that I would give people.

    In other cases I get this question from leaders who’ve built successfully, perhaps, to a six-figure, or even a multiple six-figure income and are now looking to scale their business. In those cases I find it very interesting that they’re getting frustrated to now have to find more people. Now, while sponsoring, and recruiting, and prospecting it is always important for several reasons, we want to keep up our sharpest sword, which is the recruiting skill. We want to be able to lead by example.

    We do want to be sponsoring one to four people per month continuously to show our team, and to keep sharp with our skills, but at the same time we need to realise that, when you’re building out a large organization you’re probably gonna be more effective having these people and helping them to recruit, and actually generating leads through your organization. If you have 500 customers in your organization, if you have 100 customers in your organisation, don’t you think that, by just asking for a few referrals, literally, an hour later you could have 20 new people to speak to, and maybe, guess what, maybe one out of those 20 people could become potentially a new business builder, somebody who could be excited to actually take the business with you to the next level.

    If you’re looking for more people to speak to, because you do not have a large team then, of course, it is essential you have a large lead generation source that you can draw on and continuously talk to more and more people, but if you already have a large organisation then I would ask myself, “How many people per month is it productive for me to continue to sponsor, while I also continue to strengthen the people through our team, go through my team to generate more leads, helping my leaders, and my team, sponsor and recruit through their circles of influence?” Why I believe that is so important is because I know that 99% of the long-term income will always come from duplication.

    If you already have a little bit of a team, and you’re very frustrated, and really desperate on finding people to talk to, in addition to generating leads on Facebook, and social media, and other sources, I would ask myself, “How can I get 20, 30, 50 people to talk to from within my organization, and help strengthen my organization?” Hope that really helps you, and hope you can really implement it in your business.
