The Overlooked Gold Mine

The overlooked goldmine in this profession, in network marketing, it may sound a little bit counterintuitive because sometimes we feel like we know. Because we open social media, and all we see is people in social media recruiting.

It’s always about, how can I recruit more reps? How can I recruit a hundred? How can I recruit 200? If I’ve done 10, how can I do 20? And I think they overlooked sometimes, misunderstood or overlooked the goldmine which is two things interrelated. I think it’s just one, but it’s like two parts … Two parts of the machinery of that goldmine that I think sometimes is just overlooked.

One of them is Duplication Systems, and the second one is Lead Generation from your own team. What do I mean by that? So, first of all, instead of you recruiting all the time, which is what most of the people do, which is okay there’s nothing right or wrong with that.

Eventually, if you wanna have long term residual income, and you wanna have leverage, and you wanna have the lifestyle, would you like to be recruiting in a year from today? In two years from today? Recruiting as much as you’re recruiting today? Probably not.

So, the answer to that is trying to find your gold in this overlooked goldmine … Find your answers there because sometimes what we overlook is the power of the lead generation that we have within the team asking for referrals, going through their friends, their circle of influence, and help them to actually recruit.

By doing that, what you’re doing is you’re creating … First of all, you’re creating duplication, you’re showing them how to do it so that creates leverage for you; duplication and leverage. What you’re doing is basically not making the business depending 100% on you, because you have other people doing that as you go through those referrals.

You can tap into hundreds, and thousands of people just by going through that Lead Generation strategy from your own team members as you help them to recruit. So, that’s one thing.

But, I was saying also Duplication System. The reason I was saying that is because obviously as you’re helping more, and more people you don’t wanna be busier, and busier. You still want to have a way for you to eventually be able to step out of your business, or not being 100% involved in the recruiting side of your business, for example.

So, when you have duplication systems, what you’re doing is … First of all, you’re reaching out to your team members, you’re going through that lead generation strategy through your team members and who they know. As they are recruiting other people, every single person goes into that duplication system.

That Duplication System, what it does to you is, you’re no longer necessary, the business doesn’t depend on you 100% of the time. It creates duplication for them because they have an equal opportunity to do what you’re doing today.

Again, duplication system means that you can have videos, you can have trainings, you can have things in that system that clones … Basically, it’s just you doing that over, and over again without you having to be necessarily involved; using technology.

I think the biggest mistakes that we sometimes do, is that we feel like as our team grows we need to work harder, and it’s not necessarily true. What we need to do is to work smarter. If I find myself repeating the same thing over, and over again it’s time to make a tool, put it in my duplication system in a timeline.

Where somebody that has been in the business for this long needs to have this training. But, overall I believe going back to goldmine … I think the goldmine that is sometimes overlooked is the lead generation strategy from my own team, they can get me into more, and more, and more, and more people.

At the same time how I can funnel all these brand new people into a duplication system. From then on the business depends on this system not on me.
