Why does it take so long? That’s the question that some people sometimes come and ask, saying, “Why does it take so long, in network marketing, to have an income?” Or, “To have results?” Or, “To, you know, achieve a certain rank?” Or whatever the outcome is.
My answer is always, it’s kind of relative. You know? It always depends on you. How fast you want those results. Based on that, how much action are you willing to take? Or, how fast are you willing to do the work?
Yes, I agree that depending on your opportunity, whether it’s a high-ticket opportunity where people need to pay an upfront money that is higher and you get a higher commission in return, or it’s a lower entrance, and people make the money towards having that duplication or that amount of people.
It’s all relative, too, right? But as a rule of thumb, I think it’s really relative. It’s relative to the person that you’re talking to, when they come to you and say, you know, “Why does it take so long?” I would say, “It can take as long as you want. What do you want to achieve, and by when? And based on that, here’s the course of action, the things that you need to do.”
Everything takes time. The most important thing, I believe, if you want to have results, is that you need to be willing, first of all, to learn what it takes to have the results, that’s one thing, and second of all, you need to be willing to take massive action, if you want those results in a very short period of time. Again, I don’t believe there is anything written anywhere that says that when you get involved in an opportunity in network marketing, in this case, it takes five years to make a million dollars. You know? Because I’m yet to be proven wrong, but there are people in a year making a million dollars, and there are people in six months making a million dollars in network marketing.
It only comes down to who they are, the amount of action that they are taking and what they are willing to learn throughout that process, the ups and downs that they have, that they are willing to compress, so they can have those results faster. So why does it take so long? Well, it really doesn’t. It depends on you and how fast you want those results, and what are you willing to do.
You know, we all have a price and we all have this idea of how long it should take. So the limitations are the ones that you put yourself, that you set yourself. If you don’t have any recollection of any limitations there should be, why not setting yourself a goal of achieving your 10 year goals in the next six months? How would that be? Would that be long for you, or that would be fast?
I think in most cases people would say, “It doesn’t take that long then,” if I was able to achieve my 10 year goals in the next six months, that’s fast. Right? So it’s all relative. Make sure that you always have this clear understanding that if you want a goal you have to be willing to pay the price, and take that massive action if you want that goal in a very short period of time.
