What should I do if I lose a major leader in my support line? This is not something that is very comfortable for anyone, right? Imagine, we’ve all had this happen, somebody really prominent in your support line, a leader, an upline, suddenly decides to leave the organisation, leave the company. Or perhaps, even worse, passes away. And this is a situation that will massively impact both us and our teams, and in these situations it’s really important as a leader to already know how we can actually protect our team, how we can actually help them through this transition.
So I think the most important thing is to get people refocused on their own results and their own activities. So work with your top 10 leaders in your organisation, and really refocus them that despite this massive change they are already enough, they can already do everything they want to do. And refocus them on massive action.
But for yourself, I think in this situation, what is really important is knowing that you are already the leader that you’re meant to be, to be able to lead your team, to be able to lead your organisation. You know, sometimes when we lose a leader in our support line we question who we really are, because really we had heavily relied on their leadership, on their direction. And that’s okay, but you know, we also need to realise that it’s time to step up, that it’s time to chose our direction, chose our course. And often in the situations where you’re growing your business from a six figure income to a seven figure income, it becomes increasingly important that you chose exactly what your direction is. And in situations where unfortunately you may lose a leader in your support line, this is exactly the same.
So chose your direction, stick to it. Help your team to focus on their team, and massive action, and things are going to get really exponentially better.
