If I had to start all over again, that doesn’t happen, but if it did happen, knowing what I know today, if I had to go back and start from scratch there are a few things that I would do, very simple. First of all, I would look for a company that I align myself with in terms of the product and the vision and the leadership. I would look for a company or a team that has a system. That is having results. I would be looking for some kind of mentorship so I can learn faster and fast track myself.
The next thing, obviously at the end, is going to be after you have made that decision that you’re gonna go ahead and do it, again, I would do three things. First of all, I would make sure that I know how much money I need to make so I can become again full-time. I’m starting all over again, so that means that I will probably have to find a job and I would have to go back to work, so I can have a part-time or full-time job. And in addition to that, I would start my business on a part-time basis. For that, I would probably find out whether I need $2,000 $3,000 or whatever amount of money I need bare minimum to survive, let’s say or to pay all the bills and eat every month. That’s the first thing that I would do. So, I would find out how much I need to live every month.
The next thing obviously my goal would be to cover that expenses. That would be my next goal. Then I would have a look into the company, the compensation plan structure and see, okay well this is what I need to do and this is the package that my company or my system is promoting and my next thing would be how can I get there as fast as possible. In that regard, i would go back to action. So, what I would be doing is I would be blocking about two hours a day of very active prospecting through social media. Most of the time, I would say Facebook, Instagram, maybe LinkedIn, and I would make sure that every single day I stay consistent for two hours and start building relationships with as many people as possible.
Then, after a few days, I would have people to talk to and after I have found out about their dreams, their aspirations, anything that I can see that I can help them with, then I can link my opportunity to their dreams and then present the opportunity to them. And again, in regards to the presentation, I would make sure I have a system where I am not the one doing the presentation, but there is a video that actually does the work for me. A five to 10 minute video that presents information. So, I talk to Peter, I see what his dream is. I tell him I linked his dream to the opportunity. I tell him to watch the video and then I can make the decision whether he wants to get started or he has some more questions. You go through the objections and this is what I would be doing day in and day out until I cover my bare minimum expenses, if nothing else.
What I would be doing after that, I would be helping every single person that comes into my team as I go through that to do exactly the same that I’m doing. I would make sure that they have a good reason why, that they know their goal, what is it the minimum they need to cover, how in my compensation plan they’re gonna be able to do that, you know what kind of structure they need, and then I would go ahead and help them to take action and get those goals achieved in the shortest period of time. From then on, basically I would make sure that I have a structure of events around it so everybody can learn how to do this business as fast as possible.
That is as simple as this business can be and the rest is about taking massive action. I think that the most important thing is that you have a very clear mindset where you’re not going to stop until, and then you can put that goal that you have in mind, whatever that goal is. It could be buying a new car, buying a new house, creating a passive income that you can retire your husband, your wife. You can pay for school tuition for your children, anything, but I wouldn’t stop until I get there.
