How important are scripts to network marketing success? If you know anything about Miguel and I, we’re all about strategy. We’re all about teaching the how to’s, but as we all know, sometimes when we’re starting in network marketing, we overlook that there are other things that are perhaps more important. I believe it is really important to have scripts for everything in your network marketing business, such as : how to speak to a prospect on social media. How to close somebody on the phone. How to present your business opportunity. There’s a script for everything, presenting, following up, closing, while you have those scripts, the most important thing that will happen is, you will have the clarity and the confidence, and you know what, with clarity and confidence, comes massive action.
If you thinking to yourself “Yeah, I really don’t know where to start. I don’t know what to do.” It is probably with a few simple scripts, just probably two or three scripts, you would be equipped and you would feel so much more clarity and confidence, and that’s where the massive action will happen from. Sometimes the phone feels really heavy, but it actually feels heavy because we don’t have that clarity. We don’t exactly know what we’re supposed to do. While scripts are there, there’s certainly some room for personalising them for using them in different ways, but I believe scripts are so important. If you do not have a script for everything you are doing, you perhaps won’t have the clarity.
There’s another reason why scripts are so important, and this will be really, really important if you’re already earning six figures or more in your network marketing business. If you’re randomly just talking to people in different ways while you’re presenting, recruiting, team building, all of these other things for all these different processes, guess what is happening? Your duplication is breaking, so if you’re not concise and using the scripts that are very simple and duplicatable, then perhaps you’re a little bit on a treadmill. You’re continuously replacing people because as you’re bringing them in, they’re getting into a confusion state, just like you were perhaps 12, 18, 30 months ago when you started your business.
So scripts are crucial because they give us clarity, confidence, and more importantly, they create massive duplication inside your team. Miguel and I really believe that scripts are the system. It is the secret behind the systems that we have built, and that’s how we teach leaders to scale their businesses.
